This is the dress I wore last week, sorry I have a few images and days to catch up on.
This 50's dress I have had for years and its one of those dress that is a comment collector.
Do you have a dress like that??? When you wear it people always say lovely things about it.
Its the go to dress when I am feeling a little yucky or need a pretty fix.
While taking these photographs I saw this fresh green hat in the nest matched.
That is another great pick me up, playing with hats.

ReplyDeleteI find that anything with lots of colour tends to attract compliments. And hats do too! I used to feel self-conscious about getting compliments but I am training myself to say a gracious thank you, rather than blushing and stammering and apologising or telling the person how cheap the dress was!! xxxxx

ReplyDeleteThat is a very beautiful dress! I think I need to find a 'bad day' dress too. When I'm having a blah day I pull on a pair of really old jeans and a tshirt that should have gone in the bin a long time ago... ha ha and I wonder why that doesn't make me feel better about myself! You really have such a beautiful wardrobe.
